We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team.

Job Summary:
The Junior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the smooth operation of our accounting processes. Reporting to senior accounting staff, this position will handle accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, data entry, and routine accounting tasks, while providing administrative support to senior roles within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Enter, maintain, and update financial data in accounting software.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end close processes.
  • Respond to vendor and member inquiries regarding payments and accounts.
  • Collaborate with senior accounting staff to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Support audits and other financial reviews as needed.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to senior accounting personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience, including AP and AR processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience in hospitality or club management is a plus.
