Class Description
Dr. Crawford is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in child and adolescent sports injuries. She is in practice at University of Michigan, Med-Sport and in that role currently is the team physician or assistant team physician for multiple university sports teams including: Track & Field; Rowing; Softball; Swimming and Diving; Water Polo; Tennis; Lacrosse; Soccer; and Field Hockey.
She holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University. While there her Women's Varsity Rowing team earned the Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship giving her insight into an athlete's mindset and approach to injury. Eileen earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed her residency there as well as a research fellowship. Dr. Crawford also has completed fellowships in Orthopaedic Surgery Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at University of Michigan.
